光绪通宝
光绪通宝是清德宗爱新觉罗·载湉,光绪年间(公元1875-1908年)铸。钱文楷书或楷兼隶,楷兼宋三体。背文满、回文记局、记年、记吉语,记批次等多种形式。光绪钱是中国造币史上首次引进西洋机制造币方法铸造的第一批中国样式的行用钱。另有北洋造光绪通宝机制铜币,背北洋零用一文(公元1902-1908年)。光绪通宝面文多为楷书,少数局亦有篆书,背满文记局名,汉文年叫记年钱。

此光绪通宝为当代的花钱,部分来源于宫廷,这部分花钱被人们称之为宫钱。宫钱的使用源于唐代,到了清代,宫钱的发展达到了鼎盛。当时宫钱是用官炉铸造,主要用于皇宫的节日庆典装饰,每年腊月负责铸造宫钱的部门都要把一批精铸的宫钱送入皇宫,作为宫灯的钱坠。清代宫钱,一般正面是年号,背面是天下太平、八卦图、或者吉语等等。在这些宫钱中,正面是年号,背面是八卦图的上梁钱是最为典型的一种。宫钱与民间花钱的最大区别在于,宫钱使用的铜质是精黄铜,而且制作也非常精致。
